Background

Patients, providers, and caregivers want care in the home to be an available option. In contrast to Fee-for-Service Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans have the flexibility and incentives to offer home-based care alternatives for beneficiaries. A recent analysis shows that Medicare Advantage plans are answering the call for more access to care in-home through benefit offerings, such as in-home support services and home-based palliative care.

On August 11, the Better Medicare Alliance and Moving Health Home convened a joint webinar to discuss the value, barriers, and future of in-home care in Medicare Advantage. You can access the recording and materials below.
